Is Kizuno free for members?+

Yes - completely free, forever. Join as many communities as you like, at no cost. There are no ads and no upsells. Only the people building a community pay a subscription.

What are modules?+

Modules are the building blocks a community owner turns on to shape their community - Points & Rewards, Chat, Booking, Menu, Events, Voting, and more, with new ones added regularly. A café and a running club can look completely different while running on the same platform.

What happens to my members' Points if my community becomes inactive?+

Points already in members' accounts are never deleted. If your subscription lapses, your community is marked inactive and new awarding is frozen, but existing Point balances are preserved and members can still view their history. Reactivating restores everything immediately.

How do I subscribe or activate a community?+

Subscriptions are purchased entirely through the App Store or Google Play, from inside the Kizuno app - there's no billing on the website. You can create a community for free at any time; activating it (so members can earn and redeem) requires an active slot from your subscription.

How many communities can I run?+

Up to 5 active communities per account. Pricing scales linearly with how many you activate - €29/mo for 1, up to €145/mo for 5. You can create more than 5 communities, but only 5 can be active at once - pick which ones from the app.

Are there transaction fees?+

No. Kizuno charges a monthly subscription per active community with zero transaction fees. Your Points economy is yours.

What are bonus multiplier events?+

Time-boxed promotions (e.g. "2× Points on Fridays 5–9 PM") configured in your community settings, available to any active community. Great for filling quiet hours.

Do new communities need admin approval before going live?+

No - you can create a community instantly and it's visible right away, listed as inactive until you activate it. There's no manual review step.
