Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Archicava SRL ("Kizuno," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle personal data across the Service. The Kizuno mobile app does not use browser cookies - this policy covers the website only.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (kept until they expire or you delete them), and "first-party" (set by the site you're visiting) or "third-party" (set by someone else).

2. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These are always active and don't require your consent, because the site can't function without them:

  • Authentication cookies (set via Supabase, our authentication provider): keep you signed in to your account and your business dashboard as you navigate the site. Without these, you would need to sign in again on every page.
  • Consent preference: a small entry in your browser's local storage recording whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we don't ask you again on every visit.

3. Analytics Cookies (Only With Your Consent)

If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics, which sets:

  • `_ga` / `_ga_*` (Google Analytics, up to 2 years): distinguishes visitors and sessions so we can see aggregate usage patterns - which pages are visited, how people arrive at the site, and similar traffic trends. We use this to improve the site, not to build individual advertising profiles, and analytics data is not linked to your Kizuno account.

Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited and may process data outside the EEA under Google's standard contractual safeguards. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google itself handles this data.

If you click Reject, or don't respond, Google Analytics is never loaded and none of its cookies are set.

4. Why We Ask First

Under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, only cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you've requested (like staying signed in) can be set without prior consent - everything else, including analytics, needs your opt-in first. That's why the Google Analytics script itself doesn't load at all until you click Accept; nothing is sent to Google before that.

5. Changing Your Choice

Your accept/reject choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not a cookie. To change your mind, clear your browser's site data (cookies and local storage) for this site - the banner will reappear on your next visit, or you can also just clear cookies via your browser settings at any time, which will sign you out and remove any analytics cookies already set.

Most browsers let you:

  • view and delete existing cookies;
  • block cookies from specific sites or all sites; and
  • clear cookies automatically when you close the browser.

Consult your browser's help documentation for exact steps, as they vary by browser and version.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if the cookies we use change. We will update the date below and, where legally required, ask for your consent again before any new non-essential cookie is set.
